About a month ago Hurricane Matthew blew through our little piece of the planet leaving a huge mess. We were very lucky to have only a big mess to clean up. Too many service providers become unable to deliver work on time. Yet they still want to be paid before they catch up with or complete their work. Obviously you have to allow some time to return to normal, but people need to update their clients by phone or e-mail if work can not be completed as agreed. Project management is my biggest headache. Trying to keep people accountable for their commitments takes a huge amount of my time.
